Rough Day!!

Today started productive, two happy boys and some cleaning. We decided that today we would sort dinosaurs, all 400+ of them. Spencer stopped for potty break, only to come out and inform me he had shoved a sea shell in his nose. I knew this to be truth based on last years foam piece!! So I grabbed a flash light and sure enough, I could barely see it WAY up there!! Called Doctor, headed that way. Coaching Spencer the whole way, 'now you will have to sit still'. He did great, until she got a hold of it and pulled. Poor little guy almost came off the table and then the blood started. What was funny, suddenly hit me as, 'my poor baby'. No luck there, she sent us to ENT and they quickly informed us we needed to put him to sleep to get it out so it wouldn't hurt him so bad. My stomach hit the floor. Now we are talking really serious situation. So here I am the night before my little monster goes in for surgery. 6:30am tomorrow AM. Bless his sweet heart. We are suppose to fly to Miami tomorrow afternoon for the last race, but we'll see how the morning goes. We are sitting at airport now picking up an anxious dad, that got a flight home from CO to be here for Spencer.
