Back from Kansas
We all got back from Kansas yesterday... #78 car finished 15th. We flew out on Thursday, Todd included. it was literally snowing that night, we got to bus and heat wasn't working. so we all slept in warm clothes. Friday after doing school work, the boys and i ran into a few stores. KS has REALLY grown up!! it was so nice to have all the shops & restaurants so close. That night we went to T-Rex Cafe & walked around Cabela's. Saturday, more school, then back out looking around. Lincoln was in town, so the boys got to play with him & the other kids at the play ground before dinner.... Which was T-Rex again :) We headed out Sunday whn the race started & Todd followed behind us after the race. Weather was great in CO when we landed, boys ode bikes & i sat outside, but today.... Calling for rain & snow... Agh! We are heading to look at a possible Preschool for Spencer at 10. I really want to nail down the school stuff for both boys, so I can quit worrying about it. I just want it to be the right place for both!!

Sunday off...
Well after another bad week for #78 car in Texas (great car, top 5, part broke). We flew back to Denver Saturday... Todd followed after the race. Sunday was relax day. We had an early lunch, rode by the school the boys might go to. Went by the Library, then let the boys ride bikes before heading to the Aquarium for dinner. While riding bikes, Spencer had a crash with Troy & got a nice shiner on his eye. Bless him, so tough... Went back to riding after a little pep talk. After dinner we walked around the aquarium to see the fishes. Cooper wanted to feed the stingrays... Surprised me, but he is trying more things these days. After the first two feedings, he got bit on his last little fish. Rough, but fun day!!

Catch up...
Where has the 6 weeks in NC gone??? Wow... I knew it would go fast, but I just blinked! I guess the wedding planning really has consumed my time. Fun, but fast!! 2 weekends ago was Kadi's beach weekend. It was cooler than we hoped, but it was a blast. Just 6 of us, so small enough, yet large enough. We had dinner, played games, had our toes done, ate some more, shopped. It was a good time! First time away from my boys (other than a NC Funeral) and it went well. They had a great time with Nana and Chase stayed too!
Last weekend was Easter, so Todd was home Thursday-Monday, so that was fun! Weather was nice, so boys played with Todd. 4wheelers, mule, etc.
Todd left Monday and I had a fabulous Colonoscopy on Tuesday!! Yuck!! Procedure was a piece of cake, but Monday was a nightmare. Ugh!! Drink, poop, repeat. On the bright side, I lost 3.5lbs in a day!! All clear on report!
Todd came back to NC for Martinsville, our last weeks home for a bit. We head out to CO on Monday and we'll stay for 2.5 weeks, then back for the wedding! I am ready to go back to slow down a bit, BUT nervous that when I get back we only have 5 days til the BIG day! Trees are going up, painting getting done, doors going up, lots of chaos around here. Tough for me to leave with it all not complete... But all will be good!

Bristol Baby!!
We finally got to see Todd!! It has been too long! He decided to fly home Wednesday, which worked out great! Cooper got to do his Art Class (that he LOVES) then we headed to get Todd at the airport. Thursday the boys got to ride 4-wheelers & the mule while I got some Real Estate done. Todd got to come to Cooper's gymnastics, then we drove to Bristol together. The boys had a good time at the track as usual, playing at MRO & on the bus. We ran onto The Mears at Pizza Hut Friday night, so that was an added bonus. Saturday MRO had their annual Easter Egg Hunt! Cooper ended up winning the most eggs found in all age groups!! He found 341 eggs.... With Daddy strategy & encouragement! He was so proud!! Spencer found 146, so not too bad himself. Spencer has told everyone how well Cooper did and never once got upset that he didn't.
Funny thing, while counting eggs Spencer had a Jimmie Johnson egg and I told him that Jimmie was sitting over on the bench and Spencer went right over to him and held that egg up and said, "this is a Jimmie Johnson egg" with his little matter of fact expression. Jimmie says, "..that's me!" Spencer immediately goes to hand it o him (sweet thing) and Jimmie of course says "you keep it buddy" and gives him a high five. Sweet memories that I hope I can remind him one day! Right now Clint Bowyer is the only cool person in racing! Spencer will tell you, "Clint's my buddy"
We went down in the Pits per race to see Todd, then MRO took all the kids to the Suite o watch the race. We stayed til 100 o go, then headed back to NC. Todd finished 4th today!! Finally some luck to go with their hard work!

I am behind....
What has happened since my last post. Thankful Todd was OK from his wreck, mini needs some attention though. Of course there was $750 in damage to mini bumper, but $6000 damage from airbag.
Boys and I headed to NC on Sunday, boys did great on flight again... So proud of my traveling boys. This trip we had bags to check & a cat on tow!! Snickers did awesome, not a peep and be stayed in that carrier until we got to NC house. Once here, we lost him for a day or so in this house. But got to love on all our other critters. Home for 3 days before heading to Daytona on Thursday!! Great drive, sure didn't feel like 8.5 hrs. Boys did great!! Nana came with us of course. We planned to relax this Daytona trip since we got Disney out of the way in Jan.....well.... We sure filled our days!! Friday, cool & overcast so we set out to Outlets. We hit a few before heading to Alligator Farm, which caused us to "find" historic St. Augustine!!! WOW... What a great place! So we decided to come back on Sunday. We visited the Pirate Museum & the old Fort!! Really fun!! Monday & Tuesday Todd was off, so we headed to DinoLand Monday, then stopped by downtown Disney on the way back to eat at T-Rex Cafe. Then Tuesday we tried something new, LEGOland!! We got super lucky, normally closed on Tuesdays, no crowds!! We got to ride rides over & over, no lines!! Great Day!! The rest of the week we enjoyed the beach!! Temps finally got into 80's the last couple days! We drove back to NC on Sunday, while Todd had to head back to CO. It stinks that the next two races are west coast when we are in NC, but the next several after that he'll be East with us. I am full on wedding preparing! Dress fitting, hair practice, invitation meetings all this week. Tomorrow AM are Bridal Portraits!!
Oh!! Lake House finally Under Contract, plan to close 4/5/13. Commercial Lot set to Close 3/15/13. Fingers crossed they both actually Close!!

Friday night scare
It was Spencer's night to pick dinner choice. Downtown Aquarium wins! A favorite for all of us. Todd asked us to meet him there (his work is close to there) We got stuck in traffic, he called and said he would check in the reservation and we will get there as soon as we can. Boys & I got there and didn't see his car. We checked in at front and he had not gotten there. I grabbed my phone to text and say, 'we beat you' but it rang before I could. He said causally I will be a bit, got in a wreck. I thought a minor bump up, but as we sat down and I kept hearing more... Waiting on cops, airbag came out, mini won't start. The more concerned I got. He said for us to stay there. So I ordered for boys and waiting to hear more. He text to say it will be a while longer to eat. Right when our food he text to say on the way. What a relief to see him come in. I had ordered for him, he are but said he was sore. He hit a car with 3 kids in it (I know that bothered him). His arms were all burnt and scratch from airbag and he said his chest was sore. He did not have his seat belt on and made a comment he couldn't breath but said it was from all the airbag powder... I sure hope that is all it is!! When we got home, I saw his chest. You can see perfect imprint of steering wheel (stitching and all) on his upper chest. He has swelling & a scab on the lower rib area. He says he is ok, but still concerns me. He got up & went to work this AM at 5:30, saying he is ok. Now is not when he needs to put on tough face. Thanking God for his (and others involved) safety!! Scary how it could have turned out!!

My Gym steps
Well the ball is rolling, just how fast it goes is up to us!! I had my 'interview call' with the CFO & CEO for My Gym yesterday. About 40 mins for each call. They both seemed great and both said I sound like a great fit!! Next step would be to spend a day out in LA at their Training Facility. If I decide to do it, I can make a commitment yet not start process until I am ready. If we were in NC, I would roll on now. But I surely don't want to commit myself to NC full time without my husband there with me. From the 'yes' point it is 9 months-12 months until ready to open. But still yet, not sure if 1 year will have all the Berrier's there. My thought is open Jan 2015 to catch the winter crowd. I made a phone call to Lindsey Sowers today to tell her about the idea and let her know I'd like her to be a part of it in one way or another.
We shall see....
