Nana is so sweet, she sent a goody package to the boys (just when I needed a bit of home to show up). They were so excited, it is the little things in life that make you smile. She wrote a great letter to Cooper that he mostly read and sealed the cards with a kiss!! Cooper jumped up and said I am going to send Nana something and started coloring and took her letter to help him write a few words. Love her and her thoughtful ways! Lucky kids, lucky me! Miss her terrible.
We watched the Broncos get beat last night. Spencer was cute getting do close to TV.
My car FINALLY got here, after 8 days... It showed up!! Yeah!! Now I am sporting around CO in my green little highlander! Thanks Leroy!
Sweet Wendy is in labor tonight, ready to welcome that miracle baby boy! What a testimony she has to get that little guy!! Can't wait to meet him, just wish I was there to keep her company while she waits.
Cooper wrote a letter to Chase today. Short & Sweet, but did great writing it!
Amanda is on my mind as she had another treatment today! She said it was a tough day and I hate I can't fix that for her. But I did order her a little gift from Popcorn Factory! Hopefully that will cheer her up.

A bit home sick
Well... After a week in Colorado, I am starting to miss my home, family, friends & animals in NC. I think now that I have rushed around shopping & sticking the house I am now in the 'what do we do on a daily basis' feeling?!? We don't have a normal here, so I feel a bit lost. Boys seem to be fine, Cooper said Thursday last week that he missed Nana and Spencer has said he missed his animals. We'll head home soon enough, trying to keep remembering that. Just wonder how long this back & forth will last?!? Hoping to find some places to take the boys this week, but that might make me more sad without Nana coming along.

Colorado
It's been a busy few days!! We flew out to CO Sunday. The boys did good in the airport, little fidgety on the plane (but it is a 3hr flight). Todd met us at the airport, so that made it easy!
We got to the house (first time we've seen it) and it wasn't long before the boys made friends with Andre, our 4 yr old neighbor. His parents Jennifer & Steve are really nice and helpful. Today is Wed. so as of now, we have met all the kids and I am amazed how they ALL play out in the street EVERYDAY it is great for the boys. I am just trying to get use to it. Teaching them to wear shoes is the hard part. We finally got a couch yesterday and stocked the kitchen. Now on to decorating and CLOTHES. Stay tuned...

Richmond
Here we are in Richmond. Boys and I drove up yesterday, stopped in Conway and visited Weese a few hours & dropped Mom off with her. We got to the track in time for boys to watch Haulers park & unload with Todd. Right before bed, Spencer decided to throw up (a LOT) on pull out bed, couch, rug.. Pretty much everywhere! Whipped his chin and said I am all better. Love that kids can do that! Today we have done School, MRO, lunch & more school. During one activity, the question for Cooper was "I like _____" I read it aloud and heard Spencer answer, "... Big butts and I can not lie". Love that crazy kid!!

Cooper's sleep over
After a Labor Day cook out at MeeMaw's today, Cooper is staying the night. I brought Morgan home with Spencer. Cooper had a little nervous smile when we left. I think he was more sad about not having Spencer stay than missing me. He hugged on him and asked for us to call him. He has stayed with Nana a few times, but had Chase or Spencer with him. He is getting big!! Hope he sleeps good.

First week of Homeschool..Done!
Well, even though we did school on Saturday (we skipped Thursday school) we finished a full week of school. So far, I am not loving it. He is doing good with learning, but OK with concentration. We learned how to write & read 'A', 'M', 'E', 'Y' & 'H' and the numbers 1-5. I have to say his letter writing has improved since Monday!! So I guess we are doing some good. We learned 5 site words: His, My, The, Under & Top. He can write, spell and say them. We learned about Recycling & sea life. Progress...
After talking to several people, I ordered the Calvert Curricuilium so we will have a daily lesson plan that flows through Kindergarten and teaches the Core Curricuilium the is required. I am excited to have a true lesson plan to follow. I am optimist that THIS is what I have been searching for!

Atlanta!!
I am a day late... But better late than never! We drove to Atlanta on Thursday (Todd, the boys and I) Of course they did GREAT, best trip they have ever taken. No whining, no bathroom request, no movie fighting, it was crazy calm. Probably just so Todd will think it is always that easy... Not! Friday we got up and headed to the Georgia Aquarium! Cooper has been waiting for that for months. He wants to see the whale sharks (only aquarium in US with whale sharks) It was worth the wait, it was so nice and clean. Just built in 2005, so really good technology. The boys behaved really good. We saw a dolphin show and that scared them both. After the Aquarium we drove thru the original Chick-fil-A which was cool!! Then back to the bus for some school work. Ride their bikes to MRO and played til dark.
