Todd was home til he flew out at 3:00 today for a Test in KS, so we had yesterday and 1/2 today with him. A nice change from the last 6 weeks. This morning I had to run out and pick up an Offer and deliver a check. While I was gone, Cooper decided to try riding a bike (with no training wheels). I guess we thought he might need a learning period.... Nope, he jumped right on and took off. Guess that Skutt riding for 3 years really does help with balance!! So glad Todd was here to experience that with him.
Today was the 1st Day of school for Davidson County Schools... Been kinda sad for me, knowing Cooper won't be starting. But I know this is the best decision for us right now. Spencer took a long nap today, so Cooper and I started School. He did good with his worksheets and practicing letters & numbers. I am still lost when it comes to a lesson plan. But I hope to figure it out as we go...

Bristol Baby!!
Race Day! Todd got to hang out til noon. Boys love that! The MRO kids sing the National Anthem tonight and Cooper said he would sing to! I was so excited to hear that, I love when they participate. I think he just wanted the trophy :) but he went to both practice by himself and put that cute "Uncle Sam" hat and we all hopped on the bus into the track. He stood there and sang, sweet boy!! Spencer was there with his hat on, but liked his view fr Todd holding him. #78 car wrecked about mid race, but they got him back our there to finish 16th. We headed home around 9:00 when the boys started getting tired. Looking forward to church tomorrow and a family day with Todd!!
Bristol
Everyone (including Todd) is still asleep on the coach. It is so quite, we park down on the river when we come to Bristol and it is so nice. The boys finished up Dino Days at the YMCA yesterday, I picked them up and we headed to Bristol. Rained off and on the whole way. We haven't stayed on our bus since last Bristol (March), so it is a lot of fun for the boys... Camping (comfort style). They race tonight, do we'll head home after the race, so we can go to church Sunday. The kids of MRO will sing the Anthem tonight, we shall see if these boys do it or not :)!

Craziness starts....
The last two days, I have been super woman (with Nana help of course). From camp, packing and sending boxes to CO, setting up cable for CO house, selling on Craig's list, talking to potential renters, getting tow truck ready, my car detailed, Closings upcoming & offer on our commercial lot, arranging motor home pick up....amazing the things that are getting done though. God is who I should be thanking. Thankful for a good, solid mind that helps me multi-task and the smarts to put this all together. Thank you Lord... Just stay with me (always).

Charleston Weekend!!
Candie, Chase, the boys and I drove down to Charleston yesterday to see Daddy. After a LONG trip down, we made it. First trip with Spencer in underwear... Yeah! I think we are finally completely done with diapers (except for night time).
This morning we headed to tour Yorktown Aircraft Carrier. Really neat place, the boys got to climb on all kinds of things and may actually have learned one or two things accidentally

Inspirational Day!!
Todd flew in last night (extra day with daddy this week) so the day was ours...
Eloise our first goldfish died today. Cooper was ok with this one - more upset when her husband Wood died a few months back. But we still have 11 more in my office tank :)
We meet with the man that owns commercial lot beside ours, he is interested in our lot, so fingers crossed that can sell. We rode 4 wheelers & the mule over at Mr Hege and Cooper FINALLY found a turtle... Thank goodness. So 'Franklin' came home to live with us, outside of course. We headed to Lowes to buy some fence to make a palace area for Frankin... While there I made the silly mistake to let Spencer hold my keys!! Or I should say HIDE them!! Yep, 30mins of panic, but we found them in a cinder block in garden center!! Agh!! Lesson learned!
Off to mom's for 'meet & greet' with Pastor Doug. He seems great, glad for Canaan. Hate I will miss out being in CO. But glad to be forming a relationship with him. Thankful Todd could be there as well. #praisingGod

Summer Days!!
Today started emotional with me finally withdrawing Cooper from NorthWest Elementary School. The ladies at the office were really sweet, they didn't even laugh when I teared up.
I took Cooper & Emily to another Painting Class today, Goovy Paint! It was fun and they did great.
After painting, we headed to Subway & finished up at Sweet Frogs!! Yummy!

Fun Saturday!!
Started the day off with a trip to the Flea Market in Salisbury. Pops & Nana joined us. We bought mini Spike, John Deere Tractor pedal toy and my $5 chandelier to 'play' with. Oh, and Spencer got a hammer, all he wanted today! Afterward, we headed to Transit Damaged, where I bought a table I don't need, but LOVE, so pretty. Chase came to spend the day and now the night with us!! Good cousin time :)

Final night for Art From the Heart (bitter sweet)
What a great 4 days.. Full, but great!! I am not sure where this week has gone. With Y camp in the AM and VBS each night and busing all 5 kids back & forth, I am pooped :) I thoroughly enjoyed my class at church and truly believe they learned what we set out to teach them! I actually know all 9 Fruit of the Spirits (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness & Self Control) so I guess this week has done good for ALL of us. I finally met our new Pastor, Doug. He seems great, just hate I won't get to hear him week in and out. He approached me tonight to tell me he was praying for me with Todd being away. Someone obviously filled him in, but it was nice for him to let me know that he knows :) The boys enjoyed this week and having Emily, Morgan & Chase with them every night. Todd flew in last night and flew out today at 3:15. It has become our weekly visit. I know it is short, but worth it. We fill up on as much of him as we can... To hold us on til next week. It's been about 4 weeks now of him being in CO. Not ideal, but we'll make it work. Family is worth it!! God will be with us and keep us strong. I've attached some pictures from VBS!!

Art From the Heart!! (night one)
I was asked two days ago to teach one of our Kindergarten classes at VBS (which is called Art from the Heart at our church) I of course said I would... Agh... So after a drive home from beach yesterday I ran over to join in on a pre-vbs meeting (they have been having them for months) Our theme this year is Fruits of the Spirit, I have to say I have learned these quickly with some late night internet surfing last night. I invited Emily, Morgan & Chase to join us. The boys had camp this AM at the YMCA, Farm Days!! So after dropping them at 8:30, I hit the Dollar Store, then back to Y for my classes, then off to Clients to sign Offer (yeah!) then home to quickly create projects. My class tonight is 13 rising Kindergarten students... Sweet things. I have two from the homeless shelter, which really opens my eyes!! I found out at the end of class tonight and it will weigh heavy on my heart all week. God loves the little children, I can only hope we can express that to them... All of them!!

Weekend Beach Trip!!
Well, last summer weekend get away gone... Candie & her family went to N. Myrtle Beach for the week. So we decided to join them for the weekend. The boys and I headed down Friday AM, they did great on the drive down. Normally I have Nana with me. She and Kadi drove down after work Friday. So the boys and I spent the day at the beach/pool with The Bowman's. We went over to Barefoot Landing that night for dinner, shopping and of course ICE CREAM!! We bought Skipperdee (Cooper's pet turtle) a 'wife'... Her name is Lily. We stayed in Myrtle Beach (that won't happen again) We made do in our cracker jack box, and headed back to NMB in the AN. After breakfast & beach time, Kadi & I hit the Outlets. Back to shower, then off to Broadway at The Beach. We did the usual, Build a Dino (T-Rex) and It's Sugar!! Poor Spencer fell asleep on the way to Broadway and slept the entire time. Nana stayed in the car with him, so Cooper built him a German Shepard (later he named Dixie) and picked him some chocolate raisins (sweet brother). All in all, another great weekend with my mom & sisters!! #familymemories
